Give Seniors Respect and Purpose

“I have made some of the best memories of my life building relationships with retired folks at church, at school, in nursing homes, and through my dad - a social worker who specialized in senior care. These relationships have made me who I am.”

- Zak Ringelstein -

We owe our seniors the best life possible and we must provide the necessary supports so that all Americans can age with dignity and purpose. Every senior should have opportunities to thrive as members of their families and communities. We support expansion of Social Security, Medicare, in-home care, and research to combat Alzheimer’s disease, adult-onset diabetes, and other conditions that disproportionately affect seniors.

Our plan to respect seniors and provide them with purpose includes:

  1. Expansion and support of Social Security with fairer tax laws that make sure billionaires pay the same share as the working class.
  2. Expansion of Medicare services to meet the needs of all seniors, eliminating the need for secondary private insurance;

  3. Universal in-home care so more seniors can stay with their families and in their communities; and,

  4. Significant increases in funding for Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes research, and other conditions affecting seniors so that we have what it takes to make necessary advances in treating these conditions and eliminating them altogether.
